Privacy Policy

When you register through our website, we ask for:

• First name (required) and last name (optional)
• Phone number (required)
• Email address (required)
• Postal code (required)
• Your separate, optional consent choices for (a) information and educational materials and (b) text-message event reminders, together with the date and time each choice was made

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to send. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

• To send event notices, coalition agendas, and opportunities to work together to people who have registered
• To send information and educational materials only if you checked that consent box
• To send text-message event reminders only if you checked that consent box
• To understand, in general terms, which areas our registrants come from (postal code)

Providing a phone number does not by itself enroll you in text messages. Each consent is recorded separately, and you may withdraw either consent at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the website and store registrations securely, and only for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law. Registering with Shared Stake does not add you to the mailing list of any other organization.

Registrations are stored in a secure, access-controlled system. Only the coalition's authorized administrator can view registration records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.

• You may ask us to update or delete your registration at any time.
• You may withdraw either consent at any time by contacting us.
• You may reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving text reminders once text messaging is active.

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us and we will remove the record.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the coalition develops. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
